The intelligence of the soul is not the same as the intelligence of the mind. The mind has flaws and it is often incapable of reaching as far and as wide as we would like. At the same time, the soul can reach everything that is essential, with an intelligence that is more often intuitive and principled. The soul is our divine self which survives on love, kindness, compassion, and gratitude and has no patience for any meaningless pursuits.
